PATTERN DESCRIPTION
Like their namesake Mr Darcy, these boxers are classically stylish.
Sitting low on the waist they offer full coverage front and back.
This pattern is no longer FREE it was, but despite repeatedly asking people to NOT ABUSE ME in the very small amount of information you need to enter in order to get the free pattern then abuse ramped up. Life is too short to deal with shitty people so I’m charging for patterns because I don’t think it’s too much to ask people to be respectful to the person giving you a free pattern. So if you came for the free pattern and left dissatisfied I’m sorry but the shitty people ruined it for everyone.

The instructions will take you through how to make the mens version with exposed elastic and the womens version featuring concealed elastic, side splits and a shorter leg length.

The Darcy Boxers is a digital PDF sewing pattern, when you purchase you will receive a link to download a .zip file. Upon opening the zip file you will have access to the following
- pattern in sizes XXS to XXL / 6 to 18 – Australian sizing, see size chart for measurements
- pattern includes seam allowance of 1cm/10mm
- multi page PDF pattern suitable for Letter or A4 page size
- Copy shop pattern – see file name for paper size required
- Instruction booklet
Please Note: PDF patterns are given as a zip file and some mobile devices cannot unzip them. If you are having issues use a computer to unzip the file and then save the files individually. Or save directly to a file service such as Dropbox or Google Drive.

This is a great pattern. So far I’ve made it up five times for my husband: twice with woven fabrics and three times with cotton jersey. For the stretch fabric I cut it down two sizes but otherwise followed the pattern which was easy to understand with clear illustrations and instructions.
Husband reports that they are comfortable and they also look good on him. Would recommend to anyone searching for a good, simple boxer short pattern.

I have downloaded this pattern and have now made at least 10 pairs of boxers, using this brilliant pattern. I have a handicapped son who is HARD to shop for but this pattern has allowed me to adapt for his size and he is proud to wear what I make. MUCH better that shopping for ready mades and I can (at his choice) make pants in any design of fabric that catches his eye.
