Mini Drawstring Pouch

PATTERN DESCRIPTION

Mini Drawstring Pouch with a rounded bottom is a fun project where we can stretch our beginner skills. We will be learning how to create a casing to thread the drawstrings through, add a lining and sewing curves. It’s a nice way to gently extend your skills and end up with a cute little pouch you can use to carry coins, store rock collections, store your headphones and charging cables as well as many other uses.

For experienced sewers they are a great way to use up leftover scraps of fabrics and they make great presents for young and old.

Designed for lightweight woven fabric with inserted drawstring.

Sizes: One Size – see pattern for dimensions

Fabric: Suitable for Lightweight woven fabrics.

40cm x 20cm for outer fabric

40cm x 20cm for lining fabric – can be the same as outer fabric

15cm x 20cm contrast colour fabric for casing

Notions/Trims:

1m x 10mm wide (or less) drawcord
